Our Story

Owning a boutique has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. Even as a little girl, I loved wandering through hardware stores, resale shops, and flea markets in Wisconsin, fascinated by unique finds and the stories behind them. A family road trip out west to Arizona sealed the inspiration. Exploring all the souvenir and mom and pop shops, sparked my love for thoughtfully curated, one of a kind items.

Life led me down a wonderful 32-year career as a surgical assistant, where I built lasting relationships with patients and colleagues. Marriage brought me two incredible daughters, Sam and Al, who became my greatest inspiration and shopping partners. Over the years, I quietly collected pieces that made me smile, laugh, or feel comfort and warmth, always saying, “One day, I’ll have a shop and carry something like this.” Inspired by the memorable gift-giving experience once found at Marshall Field’s with their iconic green and white gift wrap, I dreamed of creating a place where every gift feels speciabeautifully chosen and thoughtfully wrapped.

Finding Home in Roselle

After searching everywhere in the Northwest suburbs for the perfect space, nothing felt quite right. Then serendipity struck. During a weekly dinner at 1913, a wonderful restaurant in Roselle, the owner mentioned a space opening two doors down. The timing was perfect, I had just left my career as a surgical assistant and returned from an incredible trip to Australia and New Zealand and in 2017 we opened our doors.

Roselle turned out to be exactly where we belonged. This charming small town is home to amazing restaurants like Italian Pizza Kitchen, 8000 Miles, and 1913, plus Pollyanna Brewery and Lynfred Winery, all within walking distance. The community spirit here is incredible, with events hosted by the Village, Roselle Main Street Merchants, Roselle Cultural Arts, Lions Club, and Park District. Summer brings French Markets and concerts right around the corner. We're truly blessed by the support of this wonderful community.
